Mountain Shadows Resort was originally built in 1950, but the resort has been completely re-built from the ground up after it closed in 2004. The new hotel brings a modern twist to its original 1950s roots. Tucked away in Arizona, it is wedged in between Camelback and Mummy mountains and it has 183 rooms. The resort had it’s grand opening a few months ago.
The revamped hotel will have 12,500 sq feet of indoor and 25,000 sq feet of outdoor meeting space. In addition, the property also has a new 18-hole, 3-par golf course. Dining options include Hearth ‘61, which offers American cuisine, and Rusty’s, a patio and lounge.
