Starwood Adds to Luxury Collection Brand in South America

Tambo del Inka, the newest addition to Starwood’s Luxury Collection, is scheduled to open in the sacred valley of Urubamba, offering breath-taking views of the Andes Mountains and direct access to Peru’s Machu Picchu Trails. The 5,905 square-foot Spa at Valle Sagrado has 12 treatments rooms with panoramic views of the Andes where guest can select from indigenous treatments such as Andean Chocolate, Gold from the Gods and Misti Mud using ancestral Inca ingredients such as gold used by Incan princesses.

Following the Tambo del Inka is the third hotel to open in Peru in 2011, the Palacio del Inka in Cusco, the capital of the ancient Incan Empire.
